        it's wild.

literally all people have in their lives is the experience of shopping, to center them. the supermarket experience. they cannot imagine life without it.

"get your groceries delivered from your regular store. it's free. you get exactly the same shit every time anyway. you have diabetes and are 175 years old"

"no, it's not the same. I gotta pick what I want. see what's there"

It's insane how these facebook groups for large corporations are able to spread propaganda. Might be a good opportunity, chapos. Don't be weird.

My gf gets all the updates about her job (overtime, covid case counts, etc.) from a specific Facebook group that all her coworkers use. It's also a platform for all the crazy qanon/anti-masker types to be really loud. OP was talking about how rumors were spreading about another US lockdown and most of those rumors spread on Facebook. I was probably a bit too indirect.

There’s no reason grocery stores need to be fucking open to the public. Just have online orders and hire people to You can choose between 8 brands of flavorless salsa just as well. It’s hard enough working without people climbing over you to grab a case of cambell’s soup.

Yeah true that, big oversight on my part. I’m just cranky from being worked to the bone in retail hell.

There’s plenty of ways to mitigate such a lack of access to the internet but this IS a shithole country.

My chain actually had a few stores do what you suggested. Seemed to work for those 2-3 stores but they haven't expanded it.
