a colonial analysis reveals the "Outer Rim" is not only an exploited periphery to the galactic metropole (the Core), they were also the victims of direct settler-colonization from the systems which could sponsor interstelllar expeditions and exploration. Consequently, all the resources of the Rims were owned and funneled to the Correllias and Alderaans in the Core, while Joe E Endangered species were left with scraps and mere parsecs surrounding their native worlds.

Oh sure, but the cause was being exploited I think by and large by those people and obviously even further by Sidious.

the Trade Federation was a syndicate (in the labor sense), check yourself before claiming the Teamsters with a battlefleet were bad

I dunno, Grievous can be seen as tragic, but I'm pretty sure his grievances (haha) against the Jedi were misplaced, and at least in an older continuity manufactured by Count Dooku to turn him into a jedi-hunter.

yeah that sounds right. his backstory was certainly an opportunity for the jedi to reckon with 'the other side'--receiving end of their sabers--but uh, none of the mainstream stuff went into that, at all lmao
