they’re already read theory and are super intelligent. they mentioned in passing that they don’t know a lot about Che so i thought it’d be nice to get them a book on him.
they’re the sweetest, they did my dishes behind my back and said they just wanted to do something nice for me, so i plan to get them a plant and book, maybe return the favor on dishes tomorrow.
does it go into what good he did in the revolution for cuba? or is it more personal stuff about him? which is still cool i just think my comrade is more into history and the revolution surrounding cuba.

I've heard good things about Che: A Revolutionary Life by Jon Lee Anderson
I haven't read it yet, but Cosmonaut did a podcast on Helen Yaffe's book Che Guevara: The Economics of Revolution and it was pretty interesting. It's not a general book on his life though, it's more of a deep dive on his ideas about socialist planning and developing communism.
