Really? Damn, i remember snes games only used to be like $30, tho i guess if you adjust for inflation then it's about the same. I guess I mainly meant when the PS used to sale the "certified classic" or whatever it was called for a game that was a few years old and the dropped the price under $20. They don't do that with the switch from what I've noticed but then again maybe it's because it's only like 3 years old. Idk

Also, nintendo specifically is infamous for rarely dropping their prices, because they're fully aware that everything they make is a permanent exclusive.
AAA titles are actually cheaper now, if anything. Here's some Toys 'R' Us SNES and Genesis titles circa 1994; they were still $50-70 back in 1994 dollars.
