Honestly, AAA games arent really worth their price tag to me anyway and I'd rather buy 15 dollar indie games on steam or itch that are more unique and replayable. My favorite games I've played recently are 10S, Disco Elysium and Ultrakill, so why the fuck would I spend nearly 1000 dollars on a brand new console with overpriced launch games that are barely any better than their PS4 versions.
yeah honestly big AAA games end up trying to get a great story, but have to appeal to a mass market so it's really watered down, and trying to get great gameplay, but it has to appeal to a mass market so it's really watered down. so the games just feel hollow and shitty
give me weird niche experiences like Ultrakill or Ghostrunner rather than a game that spent more on its advertising than its development any day

Sometimes its fun to play at launch, but I usually just play them a little later if I get a legal copy
