What's y'all's favourite Mario Kart game?

Maybe it's because it was a golden age of my teen gaming obsession, but Mario Kart DS. The original wi-fi, making decals of 8-bit Alucard and writing "Don't D/C" beside it. I had the Super-Mini-Turbo-Boost chain (snaking) down pat, I'd be smashing left-right on that little d-pad and mini-boosting the entire track.
