The US literally has the highest health care spending per capita on the planet. And the results are shit.

You would fucking save money by having public healthcare like a civilised country.

Not to mention that nearly all the money currently spent on deductibles and premiums and copays and shit would instantly be freed up for people to buy goods and services, which, according to my limited knowledge of T H E L I N E, would make it go up, no? Wouldn't that be a win win for literally everyone except insurance and pharmaceutical companies?

And would also have the additional effect of letting employees have more freedom and choice over where they work since their health insurance isn't intrinsically tied into their employer; and as an added benefit would give them better leverage in the work place since they aren't at risk of losing their insurance by being let go/fired when disputing things at work.

Also it would help small businesses flourish more since they wouldn't deter potential employees due to a lack of being able to provide health insurance. And would even help businesses that do provide health insurance to their employees by lowering their overhead cost of operation by not needing to pay into health insurance. But yeah, single payer healthcare is fucking stupid and a pie in the sky wish and would totally cost too much money.

Great that we have Public_Citizen to speak for us so that the rest of the citizens don't have to!
