Tell me why Corbyn isn't just wasting his time being polite and seeking unity with the Blairite scum. They're as much enemies of socialism as the Tories.
Why shouldn't Corbyn start a new party to ruin the Labour party from the left just as the Brexit Party ruined the Tories from the right?
for the same reason one bernard refused to endorse a third party. what that reason is precisely i don't know, but i know it's the same fuckin reason. most likely spinelessness and thinking there's just not enough decent people that would stand their ground. it's hard to fault them when the effects of media/propaganda upon the populace are well documented.
The UK is also first past the post. Libdems are only really relevant in a small number of constituencies and the rest of the third parties are regional.
The nature of first past the post is certainly easier to overcome in the UK than in the US, but ultimately it's a 2 party system.

It makes sense in America because a third party is functionally useless. But in the UK it could make a real difference.

In America the two parties get 96% of the votes. In UK they get 80%. Third parties also get seats in the house. It's different.
reminds me of a good bit
