I remember during the Iraq War, yes we invaded under false pretenses, but it's totally justified because Saddam was a bad guy and needed to be stopped.
I've genuinely had the same conversation with my dad a few months ago, and it was fucking horrible. The guy still curses the name of our prime minister for getting us into the war, so I thought he would be easier to speak to about it, and instead I got "We all know Saddam was in bed with Al Qaeda" ad nauseum
