The face cover ban is not just a French thing. Plenty of countries have such bans at this point. Also neither that nor their Muhammad cartoons make them worse than the country with a biannual debate about whether to reintroduce serfdom

          lol, what?

But not anywhere near the worst.

            What?

British politician and media figures have a running conversation about how the poors are too uppity, and invariably this involves talks of making things more shit while the British public are supposed to be grateful. Which the British public lap up and vote for aristocratic psychos who aren't quite sure whether the poor should get the vote and whether minorities are people. I choose to summarise this as "Biannual debate for serfdom"

The French light shit on fire if someone tries to make gas more expensive. France is better.

But not anywhere near the worst.

blatant islamophobic cartoons projected on government buildings and specifically banning islamic religious dress makes them the worst

The French light shit on fire if someone tries to make gas more expensive.

              and also hate muslims

What I'm getting is that you're American and trying to score points by denouncing islanophobia. Which, cool. However the Muhammad cartoons are fine, that's not the bad part. That's, if anything, a distraction from real islamophobia within Europe. There are countries trying to build camps, there are others trying to ban Arabic being used in religious rituals, others are just trying to ban Arabic period.

In the UK half the country went spare st the prospect of a Muslim politician, the prime minister openly disparages Muslim women, and gushes over far right Hindu nationalists.

                  nope

trying to score points by denouncing islanophobia

giving a shit about marginalised people is scoring points now

                  the Muhammad cartoons are fine

                  no they aren't

There are countries trying to build camps

                  france being one of them

In the UK half the country went spare st the prospect of a Muslim politician

                  half is a big overstatement

the prime minister openly disparages Muslim women

of course he does, he's a tory, he's also incredibly racist and homophobic, but even he hasn't pushed to ban religious dress or project islamophobic shit all over government buildings

They're engaged in more imperialism abroad and they're significantly more racist, sexist and islamophobic internally.

The imperialism is the problem part.

"They are" not "they have". This is an important distinction.

It's still ludicrously wrong. It's the most wrong you can be as a human being.

I don't think so, but I would be open to an attempt to network out the activities of both countries to get a clearer picture. I actually think a project like that would do a lot to help illustrate to libs what the problem actually is. If one already exists mapping out the imperialist interests of each country I would be very interested.
