Primary elections for statewide and US House + Senate Primaries... basically when the parties pick their main candidate for the general election in November.

Haven’t the candidates for the major parties been pretty much decided?

Lower offices will often have their primaries delayed so they have a chance of running a campaign that isnt massively overshadowed by the Presidential cycle.

Who do you think is likeliest to profit from the impacts of COVID on these elections? Repubs or Dems?

Dems will have the easiest time fundraising given they are the incumbents under an unpopular President and Covid just amplifies that effect.
