    He had brain surgery for spasmodic dysphonia in 2015, but I dont know what that is

            ok, wow, i mean you can sort of understand regular surgery as a layman but neurological surgery looks like a different thing altogether. Thanks for that.

            and now that you mention it, dentistry seems like it doesn't have many transferable skills to regular doctoring since teeth are so unique. They are most likely not fake doctors but certainly a different type of doctor.

                For me it's easier to visualize veins and organs, nerves are like magic wires that should never be messed with. If you know what all those words mean then it probably sounds and looks simple. In your example you are basically just replacing and redirecting a wire.

                Specialists hating on other specialists for weird and obscure reasons is never not fascinating :)
