I don't know what they actually did in the voting booth, but there were a lot of people in here scolding others for not buying the "Biden harm reduction" argument (lol).
I can't help but feel like I'm being hopelessly cynical when I say it, but I just can't bring myself to believe even this much. I would need to believe that the president is willing or able to do something like, for example, declaring the ICE camps a humanitarian crisis on day 1 and bringing in a non-police agency like FEMA or something to take over and start pairing kids with their parents ASAP while also providing follow-up counseling and reparation payments. That's some fucking harm reduction. As it is I believe 100% that the business of the past four years will simply continue exactly as it has been but the media will stop being so incensed about it.
Right, I think some things will be better, some things will be worse, and people will point to the marginally better things and go "SEE?! HARM REDUCTION."
The reason why I don't buy it is that the longterm effects of a Biden presidency are going to be very bad for the left. Probably worse than under Trump, although that would never be enough of an impetus for me to vote for Trump either. I just accepted this was a useless election and waited to see who my enemy was.
Lmao I voted for Kanye too. His vp is a nut job but whatever not like they'd actually win. He was the only non rapist and non libertarian on my ballot so an obvious choice really
it was actually hurting my relationship with my family :( so i did, and then told them they had to vote the way i requested in every single local/statewide race/measure.
feels like shit but at least i got something out of it.
Are there any actual biden voters here??

That's sucks. I don't think a biden admin will actually be harm reduction. Obviously some things will be marginally better but it's be a net zero
