But seriously this breaks peoples brains. Unfotunately they just seem to reset to the last save state each time.
Honestly though it's damaging to your psyche to acknowledge how fucked the world is just as it is to try and ignore how fucked the world is
They'll use poverty and persuasion to force us all to pretend that mass illness, infirmity, and death are normal, to pretend that we consent, to pretend that the state of affairs is tolerable, when it is intolerable, but the alternative is to sleep in a park and suffer under the batons of the police.

Some of us don't even get that option. Insulin doesn't grow on trees.
They'll tell us we have it too good when we're working 60 hour weeks to afford a parking spot where we sleep in a car and share a porta potty that gets emptied once per month with 60 other people.
I don't know if i can in good conscious watch Christman talk in to a laptop for an hour.
These have been the highlights of corona for me, watching him work shop concepts, ideas and the issue of the day is both entertaining and educational. recommended.
People still had children during the 30 Years War and the Great Depression and World War 1 and pandemics of yesteryear. I mean, what do you want from them? To stop? Capitalism and climate disaster will kill everyone–should everyone just give up? I get the feeling, but… they won’t.
There were a couple of incredibly doomy (and probably correct) posts I read about just how fucked we all are cause climate change, and in both cases the authors did some introspection about why, knowing all this, they still chose to have kids, and their answers just weren't satisfactory at all to me. I'm not sure there really COULD be a satisfactory answer. Another one I read straight up answered the question of "is it even right to bring a child into this world?" with "yes" because like, "we won't save the future by giving ourselves a smaller stake in it" or something to that effect, which is just absolute horseshit
Too bad that not only does that not grant you any actual power to do something about it, it actually neuters any radical action you could be taking because you have a dependent to look after and can no longer risk job loss, arrest, etc
No, you see, I don't give a shit about people or my fellow man, so I need to force a doomed existence on another being in order to feel good about myself and maybe motivate myself to fight for the survival of humanity.
I'm also a musician: I hate livestreams and the sound is inevitably going to be shit, you can't replicate live sound immersion
We can at least release songs in some capacity (if we're willing to spend money and get nothing back), but man virtual shows leave me totally flaccid
I mean, if you legitimately can't find any creative way to express how you feel during this world changing event you need to do more drugs
Are schools saying the "by November" line so that they can appear to be mobilizing for in-person classes and still not get fucked by Republican leadership up until they face a electoral defeat and then schools could pretty much fly under the radar then and avoid being politicized
or am I too optimistic about school planners and they might stuff kids in school just to check mark some box
Damn I knew I should've watched today's Vlog... it's this one right?:
