    Collaboration between the bourgeoisie is just a normal consequence of capitalism.

    Whichever propaganda guy came up with the campaign to conflate conspiracy theories and just regular capitalism probably got a medal of freedom.

    It's impossible to talk to anyone about capital without them labelling you as a conspiracy theorist immediately these days.

    The problem with a lot of theories/theorists is that they operate from the premise that all this secret evil nefarious shit MUST be in service to a deep long held dark secret at the core of America that no one but a few of the true elite may know, and which above all MUST be concealed from the public (IE they're reptilian entities, or aliens, or templars, or whathaveyous). The reality much more mundane and disappointing.

    What's the secret purpose of the CIA? To promote American and business interests here and abroad.

    I always like to start my scientific materialist analysis with things like "monsters" and "evil". I also love to act like any suggestion that people with aligning class interests collaborate on any way is just crypto-nazism instead of just how a social creature like homo sapiens acts in all normal circumstances.

    Like I'm sure that trillion dollar tax cut was a big surprise for the bourgeois citizenry and had no idea that was coming and the almost entirely bourgeois congress just wanted to do something nice for them. Saying that there's any 👻💀☠️😈COLLABORATION😈☠️💀👻 there just means you're basically Reinhard Heydrich. I'm really fucking smart, like so fucking smart guys, you wouldn't believe my IQ score if I told you, I'm that smart.

    Since the owners have interests in common simply because they belong to the same class, if left to their own devices their individual efforts will naturally concentrate to a large extent on many areas, witg or without moustache-twirling, cigar smoke-filled conspiracy-laden dark-rooms.

    My problem is the assumption that they're doing it in secret, as a "conspiracy", when actually they're doing it brazenly in the open fully using the system in place.

    The distinction is important. The conspiracy thinking allows you to block off the problems inherent in capitalism, as you can just shove away the problems and contradictions you noticed as merely the doings of a few "bad apples" that are not representative of the system.

        class interests.

        See here's the issue here the ruling "class" in america does not see themselves as a class at all. This is a lumpen nation, with barely anyone being class conscious

          You don't think that business owners see themselves as similar to other business owners? Or that CEOs making clubs to hang out with other CEOs. Or that there exists secret societies of the ruling elite that have been meeting to further their own class interests over hundreds of years?

            Way less than you assume. I'm in a bourgeoise family that is upper class, they see themselves as just "middle class schlubs" despite clearly not being in that Tax Bracket

              But who do they hang out with? My guess is other people in the same tax bracket.

              And, when that is your bubble, any work done to improve your own situation is furthering the same interests of other people in that situation.

              Many people coordinate with their friends to push their interests, whether or not they know these are class interests or not doesn't change the effect.
