my issue was that the redundancy of pronouns made my writing confusing. It was also hard to talk about fathers vs mothers, would "inseminators" work? That sounded a little offensive at least to me.
Yeah, I've had to go back and rethink things when finding myself in similar predicaments.
Though there are times when I'm in a hurry and don't, mea culpa.
