he wants to canvass for socialists, while he himself doesn't consider himself a socialist, and then is surprised when they tell him to fuck off?

        lmao

Weren't the Bernie people all for the Joe Rogan endorsement tho? You may not like it, but maybe biting the bullet for some kind of coalition with Destiny would be good in putting people in the leftist pipeline.

joe rogan has like one of the most listened podcasts ever, and for what is worth he was genuinely invested in significant portions of Bernie's platform, and destiny seems to actually legit detest socialists and is 100% dedicated to slamming anything that has as much as the vague smell of demsoc as "purity testing" or whatever. he is a wrecker.

Yeah he sucks, but I'd wouldn't dismiss the opportunity to swipe his huge audience, that's all. If Fox News chuds can clap for Bernie at a town hall, it shouldn't be too hard to convince Destinty's gamer crowd, especially since many chapos are gamers too (even tho they'd deny it and make fun of gamers).

This whole drama started because DSA politely turned down Destiny and then he flipped the fuck out on twitter. DSA even said Destiny's audience would be able to go to their canvassing events, just Destiny himself wouldn't be able to co-host and/or use their VAN (a voter database) or whatever. I don't think these people want to build inroads, sorry.
