Just got a fury 2 the other day, it's a complete game changer. More efficient, better on your lungs, less odor, and leaves you with tasty little brown amoebas that you can have with yogurt and shit. Bowls and joints just look so stupid in comparison.

fire + ground plant material + small pipe. people been doin this shit for thousands of years.

no batteries, no manufactured device, negligible post harvest processing, and I can be high in seconds and go back to my day before the echo fades. I can't even remember how long I've had my little pipe. 10+ years?

I've been behind the curtain at a friends' vertically-integrated grow->process->legal dispensary op with all the post harvest value added extracts, sleek vaping rigs, efficient juices and phytocompound scores.

and you know, if all the NASA style tinker toys and budtender patter does it for you, then go with god. but the pitch falls flat on me.

My ancestors are smiling at me, VapeLord2020? Can you say the same?

I absolutely agree. I use cannabis medicinally and dry herb vaping is the healthiest way to consume next to edibles, and it saves me a lot of money. I don't really trust cartridges even when I get them from the dispensary, and I hate how much smoking makes me cough. The already-vaped weed is just a bonus.

I forgot to mention this, but I also really like being able to make pre-measured capsules for the exact dosage I want. I can pack them all at the start of the week, put one in at anytime, and be medicating within 30-60 seconds.

No, inhaling any particulate is sus, it's best to use extracts sublingually under your tongue/in your cheeks/etc, which actually enters the blood more efficiently than through your liver which only absorbs a fraction.

While this is true, it takes like 5 minutes to cash a bowl on my vaporizer. Ripping a bong takes 10 seconds. I like them both.

I remember the first cheap glass bong I ever bought, It had ice catchers, so I stupidly dropped some cubes straight down onto them, and they smashed straight off

Now I stick to acrylics; the bong material of the proletariat

            bong material of the proletariat

That'd be an old plastic bottle, friend-o.

Actually, you know what; if your downstem isn't at least broken in one place and held together by tape and goodwill, you're bourgeois swine and I WILL expropriate your smoking apparatus towards communal use

✔️ Never cleaned; internal resin coating provides extra filtering surface and intoxication
✔️ Water height unclear; sludge-like viscosity of filtering medium increases travel-time of smoke and provides even better filtering (while conserving water)
✔️ Big opening on top allows for quick clearing times
✔️ Truly poor materials - structural integrity questionable
✔️ Head angled almost perpendicular to the floor, almost impossible to clean out and reload
🟠 No carb hole visible (though probably present)
❌ Machined head seems to be mass-produced. Professional sealing ruins the look (consider chewing gum and tape)

solid 9/10, real nasty piece of equipment. I approve

you're giving me vietnam style flashbacks to 4/20 freshman year of college, when a bunch of frat dudes I was friends with decided to use one of those 5gal water jugs and a plastic trash-bin as a gravity bong and jesus christ I've never been so stoned and full of regret

Yep, learned that the hard way

honestly imo the only difference between an £10 acrylic and a £100+ Roor is just aesthetics to impress trustafarians with

Same, and vaping won't get me as high. I need to pack a couple and on mine the battery doesn't last very long.

It's nice to be able to pop outside and hit a bowl in less time it takes to microwave my food.

There are some fairly inexpensive options out there, try checking out Dynavap. They're cool because all of their vapes are totally customizable and they give a very similar experience to smoking a wrap or pipe. The cheapest models are 30 bucks, and the money you'll save even if you're a casual smoker will easy recuperate your investment pretty quickly.

Seconding the dynavap. They're cheap, portable and completely manual. You'll never have to worry about keeping your vape charged, just have to fill up your torch. You can "upgrade" and change components down the line too. I bought a wooden stem and now I feel less sketchy when I use it in public.

Not sure? I live in Colorado so don't take my word on it, but they are sold as being used for aromatherapy, so you might be able to get one in 🤔

I hate my Fury 2, tbh. The bowl is so small that it becomes a pain to get truly zooted with it; usually have to pack it two or three times.

yeah that's a real problem, my tolerance isn't very high so I can normally get by off one, but it's totally a person by person thing ⛷

Yeah honestly, despite it being way more of a bitch to use (and lacking temperature control unless you buy the adapter), I liked the MFLB a bit better. Hate recharging batteries and having to do that bs, though, so the fury 2 has become my main vape over the years

that sucks man, I get that struggle, I had a tough nicotine addiction for a long time, but I'll be 12 months nicotine free this month.

Something I really enjoyed when I was vaping nic was all the different attachments and models and shit I could get for my vapes, and these vaporizers have really been able to fill that hole for me since they work pretty similarly.

I'll be praying for you brother, shit's unbelievably tough, we're all here for you 🙏

Thanks, Comrade. These kinds of encouragements help me a lot. I will try to stop again next year. I'm actually very very happy with my substance use this year. I worked self employed for three years, which led to sustance abuse (which I stupidly chose over brankruptcy), wich led to couple of years of addiction. I finally ditched self employment but couldn't take time to withdrawl. The first lockdown was really lucky for me. For the first time in years I didn't have to go to work long enough, that I could go through withdrawl. So yeah, I will worry about nicotine another day.

However, I withdrew from Nicotine once before and let me tell you, it's really just as bad to withdrawl from as any other drug. Maybe you don't have bodily symptoms but it's just as hard to get rid off.

Yeah, I still get intense cravings every once in a while, but I've been able to stave them off. We all got our own battles and our own vices, doesn't mean you gotta fight them all at once. I'm proud of you comrade, stay strong. And tell em Yeezy sent ya ⛷
