When I was backpacking in Morocco 5 years ago, I spent some time hanging out with this American guy who was so paranoid because he didn't have his gun on him, but also insanely aggressive to everyone instead of deescelating or ignoring whatever conflict arose. Very funny to watch when it wasn't nerve wracking
