1. Posting screenshots back to specific subreddit's? Which ones?

  2. Posting screenshots to twitter/left book groups

  3. Boosting the our own @chapo_chat twitter account (those on twitter please follow).

  4. Can we get a few breadtubers to mention us in their videos?

  5. More AMAs, and promote those AMAs on subreddit's/twitter since they invite specific fanbases to come check out this site

  6. Can we make the /c/podcasts subscribed to everyone by default? And regularly post podcast episodes to it? If our discussion threads are better than those on reddit more people will come to us.

For 1, we should start using the watermarks again even if that is pretty lame, branding is still important. Screenshots on lostgeneration, LSC, antileft, socialism/communism/completeanarchy, dsa, AOC subs, S4p, while memes would go on dankleft, the okbuddy subs, dankmemes, and other stuff like that
For 2, The twitter account should get up in the replies of other more popular leftie accounts like gravel institute, and do those snappy viral tweets like gravel & Joshua4congress did, like quote tweeting the student debt calculator and things like that.
I.E. Leach off people more famous than us until we are a big enough brand on our own

    Reposting old comment here:

I really want to reopen the leftist pipeline. I will warn everyone on this site though that it means that to do this the tankie aspect of this site must be more moderated. If we want to reopen the pipeline, we need to become not alienating to libs. @Beatnik, as much as I love Parenti I never would have read him if r/chapotraphouse had been more tankie. What I liked on Reddit was that we had Chapo, Moretankiechapo, and Moremoretankiechapo. I would suggest for the future that we open c/ versions of these subs and contain tankie posting to those subs but allow commenting everywhere. That’s how I got bullied into reading Parenti.

I think a reddit like space is good as a launching space for new left projects. Just having so many of similar views in one place makes initiating projects easier. In the end what I'd like is a more organized international left.

Can we get a few breadtubers to mention us in their videos?

Giving breadtubers their own subs here would encourage them to react to the content posted there during their airtime, and would drive their viewers to post content to those communities so "dear-strimmer showed my post on stream! poggies!" cross-pollination would naturally occur.

Whether or not this would be desirable though 🤔

admins could do an interview on a podcast or stream (while remaining anonymous), or just like hit up Street Fight beforehand and then call in to their Sunday show to get the word out?

Invite mods/communities/users from other sites where they're liable to eventually become banned

"Hello fellow leftist children (SteveBuscemi.jpg) the users @ chapo.chat want to invite you to join us. If nothing else, feel free to make a backup home incase you find yourself banned as we once did. Feel free to reach out to the mods to get your community added etc."

Made a post about it the other day on userunion, seems like a good idea. Really we just need to figure out good wording.

I thought a cute "invitation" image - think a wedding invite or some crap except it's to chapo & has pig poop balls or hex bear but all posterized with fancy gold lettering

    1. MORE HOT TAKES that will inevitably get screenshotted and organically go viral, convincing people to ditch the bird site for the bear site

Maybe like levels or something. If like level 1 we all try to pretend to be normal leftist i.e we strongly but firmly advocate for minorities rights. Talk loosely about theory and experiences under capitalism. To like level 9 where we get up to our usual shit that scares potential leftists.

Idk if we get new users here we have to slow burn them on our ideas. Chacha pipeline if you will. Maybe make comms locked to users and the longer they stay here the more they unlock. Admittedly I'm having trouble describing what I want and have no idea if possible let the beautiful eggheads that run this site figure this out.

This might also solve the problem of transphobic chuds harassing with that horrible copypasta. New users can't automatically enter certain comms unless they get an invite from a mod.

Going back to the original idea maybe level 1 parts of this site are easily accessible but as you stay here longer you unlock higher levels. On our end we keep it tame and civil on level one so as not to scare anyone away. Higher levels we act like usual.

Just realized that this might be less growth and more retention. Well anyway hope it helps.

Yugopnik posts on r*ddit. Someone should persuade him to come here. Uhhh, idk any other breadtubers I'd want to interact with here. Maybe Paul Morrin? Idk.
