        They wanted the og BPP to give them blessing for an aesthetic? God damn do they know nothing about the BPP and what it did/how it functioned? My honky ass knows that they did mutual aid and community organizing. They didn't just wander around with guns looking for cameras...

            It's sad that some of them are only one generation away from BPP family members and they pulled this stunt. I hope they prove me wrong and we see something happen in Atlanta around this at some point. If they put in the work, they could still turn this publicity into some organized action.

    i feel like i remember people seeing they were carrying .22 rifles or airsoft. i can't remember. Either is hilarious.

    Honestly the biggie shirt is almost a give away on it's own. Super well light and costumed photo, but the person right next to the one with the gun has a biggie shirt. IMO revlutionary black planther-esque group would have chose to have tupac in this kind of photo. It might seem nit picky, but tupac was a genuine communist-black panther decendant who was survailed and cointelpro'ed fervishly by cops and FBI.
