Being a source of legistlation and being *the * legistlation are different. For example Saudi Arabia doesn't have a constitution, it has the Quran in it's stead. Most Muslim countries aren't that hardcore. Besides they have long history with secularism and a significant Christian population.

Well the leading parties in Palestine include the PFLP which is marxist leninist and the PLO which is secularist, the third is well..hamas. But my point is it's
a) not the guaranteed win for Sharia some people think it is.
b) there's like 50 Muslim majority country, most of which aren't secular but only Saudi Arabia and Iran are the Sharia dystopias with caning and patriarchy on steroids conservatives talk about. Tunisia too has Islam as a source of legistlation and it's lib as hell.
