      Dunno where these "doctor's offices" find their "medical professionals" nowadays.

        Since it’s such an interpersonal, subjective form of care, some of it may just be that a guy who’s a great therapist for someone else is a garbage one for you. Maybe that “mindfulness” shit is really helpful for some people, I just roll my eyes at it.

      yea I'm a big believe in therapy, it completely turned my partner's life around but yea, she really got lucky with her person.

      i have a friend who desperately needs therapy and a lot of other mental health help (really bad alcoholic, suicidal at times and other issues) but he had to go to one the state set up for him and he had a really bad experience. he's got a bit of a problem extrapolating one experience to be universal so now he's written it off entirely.
