I heard that NPR bit too. Did you notice how many times the host said stuff like "is it possible for trump to get away with this by saying he actually believes he's right?" To which the "legal expert" kept responding "pretty much. There are no consequences if you really believe!" (Insert sponge Bob rainbow .jpg) you can't just call it out because of some sort of politeness?
Basically, they were saying that if you can't prove intent, which is basically impossible, he's gonna get away with it. The defeatist attitude of libs is the false foundation that their fake #resistance is built on.
It's like they want him to get away with it so they don't have to find a new boogyman.
I also have to say, trump sounded like he might have known the call was going to be leaked. This is just conjecture, but he didn't sound like a guy on a private phone call. Or maybe it's just that he thinks he's perpetually at a rally, idk.
