It's true it would feed them, however: 1) this is chapo, the land that loves trolling trolls back 2) that loops us back to the mods not being afraid to ban people for trolling, so the hypothetical troll will (probably) still be stopped in around the same amount of time.

Plus its not like downvotes ever dissuade trolls either, and there's not much difference between a post with -3 and a post with no upvotes in the ranking
