Paranoid qanons are gonna walk out with a bunch of classified material from the hard drives of actual us congresspeople
Considering the lax IT I saw in some of the local offices and state, I'd wager they aren't. lol
https://twitter.com/linguinitime/status/1346912011267891201 guess he doesnt love our cops anymore
LMAO THE EMAIL IT'S ON LITERALLY TALKS ABOUT A HACK AT THE JUSTICE DEPARTMENT :agony-turbo:
My job has to have good comp security because of government regulation, which includes being required to lock our computers every time we get up lol. Good to see the 78 year old ghouls that run our country have less security than our tech company.
I used to work at a place that was okay with IT immediately removing equipment from people who left stuff unlocked and that is the only place that managed to drill it into people enough that I'd be confident they'd also lock their computers during an emergency like this. I don't blame the user here, but seriously poor IT people they are gonna get slammed with audit work and changes and tests, sad.
It was wonderful, nothing more satisfying than walking past an unlocked, unattended computer and just ripping the monitor of the desk and walking off with it lol. I kinda miss that place sometimes
I worked at a facility where the IT staff would send sexually charged messages from your account if you left your computer unlocked
One of my good friends and college roommates is a software engineer. From the time we were in college he taught me that when you get up from your computer, you hit win + L. Even if it's just for a minute. I still do it to this day at work.
Yeah, my first real job, you left you comp unlocked 3 times it was a formal reprimand, once more and you were gone. admittedly, high security place.
Damn, I actually didn't know that, I always go ctrl+alt+delete --> lock. Thanks for the shortcut.
If the machines/accounts are joined to an Active Directory they can be remotely locked/shutdown.
This would require some competence though.
nathaniel homes at mail dot gov? what? bro, this monitor sucks: bordeaux orders, donald tweets and cio cards.
