This was the one time the media were pretty unified in not calling it a protest. And pointing out that the response was much more gentile than to BLM, despite them literally taking over a federal building. So, uhh, CNN somehow not awful at times?

They will report liberal about it though. In the sense that property is god, procedure is Jesus and communists are Judas. With pacifism being the holy spirit (in words and the military empire in practice).

Liberals still have a tenuous grasp on reality. Sure, we'll probably see this repackaged as a protest and equated to BLM six months from now, but you can occasionally put a clear situation in front of libs and get the right response.

I just fail to comprehend how you can spin a story this hard. I could hardly do that if I wanted to lay on the sarcasm with all my might. For instance: what about the absence of the national guard? Does that not imply a less feral police presence?

    ?????????????????????

I desperately want to read the right wing spin on the moments where the cops opened the barricade to let the crowd through.

Forget that, the cops were literally taking selfies with them and opening up barriers. This take is so deranged.

I mean, cops were also taking selfies and kneeling with BLM protesters (before beating them)

I think these people are so accustomed to the police being on their side, being the people they call when there is a black teen in their neighborhood, etc. that even a mildly antagonistic interaction with them is just too shocking for them to cope with.

This is one instance where Greece is ahead of the US. This happened 2 years ago when deranged nationalists tried to do something completely analogous because they were pissed that a deal which would accept North Macedonia using the name North Macedonia among other stuff was being voted. They tried to storm the parliament and the cops obviously didn't let them (because cops can do that when they are trying to, unlike what happened here) and there was some tear gas. They were spinning the story the exact same way. Motherfucker, this happens to us every time we try to protest anything, it happened to you once after you literally tried to storm the parliament and you think there's some kind of conspiracy by the police against you?

I did not know about that in Greece, but it absolutely makes sense. Maybe the most insidious part, is that they had collective masturbatory sessions about state violence and vigilante violence against blm and antifascist protesters. They're aware of the violence, but they love it.

They've just made their choice, I reckon. Instead of equity and a distribution of resources, they'll take violent oppression as long as it's not them. I probably shouldn't be surprised, but it just still shocks me.

Hell yeah. This reminds me of their reddit days when I simply could not believe the person posting actually believed what they were saying. It just feels like somebody is low effort brainwashing them and they're all just going along with it to be part of the gang.
