The following like a plot arc in something like a fifth-rate movie. It's too dumb to be believable or plausible. The MAGA psycho talks to the media and then he starts shooting and he makes a getaway in his Tesla.

The alleged shooter, who identified himself to the Journal as Ryan Martinez prior to the incident, was immediately taken into custody. The man wearing the MAGA hat hopped in a white Tesla and fled the scene before he was arrested.

Watching the footage of the actual shooting shows how much of a cowardly piece of shit he is. The dude basically took a potshot after getting shoved past the wall. The tragic note is that he was about to be manhandled by a bunch of dudes before someone urged them to let him go, which led to him shooting someone.

In portland in 2020 someone was climbing up a flag pole to rip down an American flag (idk if it's my recommended way of doing that, but cool seems based to me). Random people in the crowd started yelling at them and throwing waterbottles and stuff at them trying to get them to come down.

        Fuck those people

one video showed some guy spray painting or smashing a window, then a bunch of protestors restrained him and pushed him towards the police and started cheering when they arrested him lol. I don't know if he was an agitator, but I doubt those protestors knew either and for all they know they just threw a random pissed off guy to get arrested

I remember all the people online and at protests saying that anyone who actually did anything disruptive was an agitator, and that all the true protesters were peaceful and orderly. Had to an op that started that shit.

Later in Portland one guy busting up a sidewalk to make bricks to throw, and everyone grabbed him and shoved him over to the police lines.

Like there's 2 outcomes: That's an overzealous adventurist comrade or it's an undercover cop. Either way, why the fuck would you push that person over to the cops and hand them over to them? If some discipline is needed in the mob, the mob can dispense it.

Española is about 25 miles away from Los Alamos. The difference of the two cities reminds me of Palo Alto and East Palo Alto. Not only is East Palo Alto very poor - decades ago it had one of the highest per capita murder rates in the country. I have no idea how the city is doing now but I assume it's pretty much the same. The local tech bros (including I don't know how many billionaires) surely don't give a fuck even if they say they believe in the bullshit of effective altruism.

A response to viewer questions and comments on my segment about Los Alamos, N.M. | PBS NewsHour

An inevitable risk of juxtaposing the country’s richest community with one of its poorest is the inference that the latter is somehow responsible for the former. We made no such claim, but could hardly avoid the fact that others at least thought Los Alamos and/or the government should be doing more.

This was both hyper-detailed and poorly explained. Like rules to some board games, really.
