      They originally extended an invitation to be the fallback site when the sub got banned, but for some reason that got removed from the sidebar and nobody knew to go there.

        Wild to me that a handful of users put together a better site in a couple weeks than raddle has in years. Hard to be worse than RES-less reddit.

          This comment is unnecessarily and plainly rude. Postmill is mostly developed by a single person in their free time to provide an opensource alternative so we don't have to bow to our corporate overlords, yet leftists will take sides on which opensource leftist project to bash too

            Well good on them I guess but if it’s a single person buying in and contributing that sounds like part of the problem.

            Maybe I’m a bit harsh. In all fairness I was an ardent booster for a raddle alternative on the sub prior to the ban but what’s been done with the lemmy platform has really impressed me. Beyond that I feel a much better sense of community here than when I was checking out raddle.

    lol raddle.me forums on stealing and shit was what turned my brother towards leftism
