it is true that regardless of what the type of rap is being sold, its targeted towards white kids with money, but i will say that in my experience ive found non woke rap that eventually becomes pop-y to at least be a little more authentic, raw, more interesting and relevant to my personal black experience, but still, very problematic.

id say that money and bitches music is on average more problematic than woke rap, but woke rap also has a history of being very misogynistic, homophobic, etc so i dont think i can use "more" as a qualifier.

i think im reacting less to the RTJ fans being stupid ass white kids and more to the fans being stupid ass white kids with a chip on their shoulder, who think theyre edgy or just woker than thou for listening to music that is purposefully made to be extremely accessible to the white rich teen.

also just as a black person i dont find RTJ rapping about reagan in 2012 that special or edgy or especially cool. like my black parents were reagan babies, my whole neighborhood has reagan babies, this shit isnt some new stuff i read yesterday (not saying killer mike read it yesterday too but sometimes his raps are very "HAVE YOU HEARD THIS" and as a black person it just feels like he's not talking to me because of course ive heard it)
