it is true that regardless of what the type of rap is being sold, its targeted towards white kids with money, but i will say that in my experience ive found non woke rap that eventually becomes pop-y to at least be a little more authentic, raw, more interesting and relevant to my personal black experience, but still, very problematic.
id say that money and bitches music is on average more problematic than woke rap, but woke rap also has a history of being very misogynistic, homophobic, etc so i dont think i can use "more" as a qualifier.
i think im reacting less to the RTJ fans being stupid ass white kids and more to the fans being stupid ass white kids with a chip on their shoulder, who think theyre edgy or just woker than thou for listening to music that is purposefully made to be extremely accessible to the white rich teen.

In terms of technical ability, aesthetic, and presentation it's hard not to argue that Killer Mike as part of RTJ has been one of the freshest breaths of air in quite some time. I, personally, and definitely as someone who appreciates production over everything prefer El-P in the duo, but I feel the yin-yang creates a situation where the sum is greater than its parts.
However, it is disappointing to hear the music then remember/take on knowledge of the man himself.
