the other day my dad showed me his college credits from the mid 80s (texas/california). A university class was literally ten dollars, which is $20-$30 today.

we're not really getting anything, but i also live in a socdem country so we don't need it as desperately as Americans impacted by covid. However the state pays most of the compensation for reduced work hours which totals >90% of full pay and they increased welfare for households with children. Should we be asking for checks?

I see libs all over the internet shitting on people for expecting $2000 and not $1400, claiming it was "plain obvious" $2000 meant $1400. If that's the case, and everyone is aware that "$2000 is actually $1400" is confusing, WHY ARE THEY STILL CALLING IT $2000?!?!?
