And dont give me your fucking mayo ass "b-but dogs are b-best friend", cattle have done far more for the human race in terms of food, milk, leather and work. We are monsters. Accept it and embrace it if you love meat, but don't give me that fucking Western chauvinist moral superiority bullshit.
I don't have a problem with some cultures killing and eating dogs
They always try to frame it as "You're saying animal lives are as important as human lives???!!!" Or even so far as "You're putting animals above humans!" I mean yes I do usually think about their lives being nearly as important, but that isn't even a requirement. You just have to believe that their lives have some level of importance or meaning greater than being a good tasty cheeseburger for you.
fun fact cows dont have a problem being carnivores either, they eat squirrels & rats & shit. warning: video of a cow eating a baby chicken alive https://youtu.be/R9vxHN8_jSE
Yes. Of course the argument is that animals shouldn't eat other animals. Galaxy-brained stuff. Stupid vegans amirite?
Well millions of people including the majority of people here do eat meat anyway. So I'm just asking them to accept that they are monsters rather than give all sorts of excuses why cows or pigs are lesser creatures than dogs or cats.
If plants feel pain then carnism still causes more deaths, since you have to feed the animals something and like you need plants to survive as well
Idk if that's what your post was about, but im a chapo and I don't read
If you can't see the difference between eating a potato and a cow then there is honestly no hope for you. You have fucking soup for brains.
Sorry, nobody warned me there'd be a thread so I wasn't online :(
We are not monsters we are just carnivores.
We're omnivores, and we don't need to eat any meat to live. Not only that, but not eating meat means much less environmental damage.
Tofu (soy) and seitan (gluten) contain both as much protein as meat, and vegetable fats are a thing. Again, you don't need meat to live.
I want to give a cow belly rubs and I don't care how dangerous that might be
You should be pretty safe. People literally milk them, they aren't really need to defend themselves cause they'd be harder to kill that way.
It weirds me out less that people eat dogs, and more that people eat crocodile
I eat interior crocodile alligators while driving in my chevrolet movie theatre
want to eat something? gotta wrastle it with your bare hands.
:croc-pog:
preedit edit: not to be confused with bear hands. the right to bear arms is not relevant, okay
omygod I just want to scratch those ears so bad, why would you show me this picture
I don't, and I'd wager nobody does, care about how smart cows are. That's a very 'shouting "he has fingernails!" at a woman walking into an abortion clinic' line of logic.
I don’t, and I’d wager nobody does, care about how smart cows are
I do, and I'd wager that in fact many people care. There is a huge difference to me morally between eating a cow and eating, say, insects.
All life is precious and worth preserving to me, but in my view at least the more sentient the animal, the worse it is morally to kill them.
so if a toddler & an adult are in a burning house you'd save the adult first? After all a child is less sentient
This is starting to turn into a pretty absurd conversation but: obviously, I'm talking about species here. A toddler will become more sentient as he/she grows up.
no idea if you'll still see stuff, but you won't be able to comment. If you don't want to see !vegan sort by subscribed and unsubscribe
