What a lib.... if she was a true comrade she would have been upstaging the libs at the inauguration like the Chair Man.

This reply is the singular reason I still post AOC content on the ChaCha... thank you Poop :fidel-salute-big:

When AOC does something good, AOC good. When AOC does something bad, AOC bad.

I believe that she is good and uncorrupted, but she does stupid things politically because she thinks she has to, to "get things done in Washington" or whatever. Like Bernie.

The standard she's set for herself is impossibly high. She's simply doomed to disappoint people.

Is it really? She just campaigned on challenging Dem power structure from the left.

I don't think anyone expects a US Congresswoman to seize the means of production tomorrow. They just want her to articulate some of their frustration and anger with the Dem party. And she's not doing that. She's doing the same thing Ted Lieu and Adam Schiff do: 80 tweets a day about how shitty Republicans are, and then vague platitudes about how we need healthcare. Then votes for Pelosi and does photo shoots with her. It's very little they're asking of her and she is not even doing that.

There are like 300 Dems in Congress who can rant about Republicans all day while doing nothing to help left causes (even in the very very tiny way that you can do that through Congress). She ran on something different than that which is why she became popular, but she isn't fulfilling that promise.

Exactly, not to mention yesterday was the FIRST TIME SINCE 2018 that she even mentioned DSA on twitter. Nothing during the membership drive.

Yeah, I'm willing to cut her slack I wouldn't for many other people. At the end of the day I've got more in common with her than many others...and, well, she's still pretty significantly outnumbered.

The admins should add that to the side bar. One for Bernie, One for AOC, etc.
