"If you knew better than they did, you'd have their jobs"

Love it when the same talking points get used by ancaps, white supremacists, and liberals.

Look, it's not my fault you chose to be born poor. It's your own personal responsibility to ensure your parents are wealthy before you're born.

From what I can tell, Dick Cheney and Kissinger were pretty smart dudes. They were also genocidal war criminals/profiteers in Cheney's case who would happily drink oil from the skulls of the children slaughtered under their command. I don't a fuck how smart you are if you're a fascist/oligarch/neoliberal.

Even in the 70s, Biden didn't possess some extraordinary intelligence. But it's not just Biden - most politicians, while probably smarter than the average person, are not objectively super smart. They often have charisma and emotional intelligence, but most people would be shocked, if they spent time with a politician, how they're aren't really all that smart.

the strength of a political party never consists in the intelligence and independent spirit of the rank-and-file of its members but rather in the spirit of willing obedience with which they follow their intellectual leaders.

It is correct; Hitler is describing why fascism works. The twitter woman is saying the same thing as him, that the leaders of the movement are more intelligent than you are, so you should obey them.

If you only get to these positions of power to due being smart then you have to draw the conclusion that Trump, BoJo, Bush, and all their cronies are smart too

No no, you see, they gained their positions through crime and lying to red state dullards. No I won't examine why it's possible to do that or if I'm the same kind of dullard I imagine everyone else to be

The issue with this is the same issue with their fixation on credentials. It doesn't matter how smart and qualified you are if you do things that make my life worse, or aren't doing enough to make my life better as a person elected to (on paper at least) serve the people in this country.

No one can deny that these people are smart. You don't get that far without a degree of intelligence. Them being stupid ain't the problem. It's the fact that their goals do not align with the needs and hopes and goals of the people of their country.

That's the fucking problem. Them turning lifetimes of political competence and manouvering to the further extraction of profit from the world, and the people of the world to maintain a constant state of slow death is the problem.

Honestly, memeing aside, this shit needs to get through to libs. It's easier to prove that these people's actions have measurably and susbstantially made people's lives worse than to prove they are more or less intelligent than another. It doesn't matter how 420 Biden's IQ is as long as every person has the highest quality of life that our country is capable of providing them.

I can't tell if they're gaslighting themselves into thinking Joe Biden is the new Qanon with a 5d chess plan or if they're trying to gaslight me into thinking that. I can't imagine being so proud about being so wrong, with the message being "I'm a fucking idiot compared to the demented racist rapist who hates me and I don't even have the quantity of brain to tell you why." At least the Japanese have seppuku for moments of shame like that.
