Hot take, Portillos is trash. Like even when I ate meat I hated Portillos; their beefs are kinda bland, the gravy is too watery. Johnnie's or Al's for me, if I was ever going to have an Italian beef again.
I don't really care for Italian beefs my go to isMaxwell Street, hotdog, fries, vanilla malt. It's a lot of nostalgia for me go to the same one I've been going to since I was a kid when I'm back in Chicago land area.
