-Slave rebellions
-Hating on nobles
-Killing rich assholes
-Stopping bullshit squabbles for a class based alliance
I loved the show but it’s too damn horny. Like I probably need both hands to count the fetish’s I have because I watched it at too impressionable an age
If I ever meet a man in a suit at the crossroads I’m definitely selling something to find out what those seven are.
I think it might be the horniest show in the history of television. Which for me, is a good thing.
It’s the horniest non anime and non porn by a large margin. Anime might provide some competition. It definitely helps sell the Roman vibes tho. Rome was hornier than a triceratops in heat.
I liked a lot of the content, but over time it just turned into a "watch people fuck" show with a lot of the sex being violent and not consentual. there's only so much of that I can watch happening before I feel like I'm complicit through voyeurism.
kinda one of the reasons is stopped watching Outlander. sexual violation seemed to be an every episode occurance, and not just alluded to, but like happening on camera and centered.
I dunno. with the portrayal of sexual violence or even just the implication, a little goes a long way for me. I don't need to be hit in the face with it every episode.
agreed 100% about Outlander. I actually enjoy trashy shows like that sometimes but SOOO much triggering shit happened in that show, it was ridiculous.
It maybe it’s just soft core porn (and often rape porn) with a deeper than usual background story
I apologize about the rape. I don't think that the writers intended to make the rape positive or sexy. He's why:
spoiler
all the fucking rapists are total assholes and they end up getting killed by the revolution at some point
i loved that show, and then when the lead character irl lost his life to cancer, it didn't get worse but it's all i could think about the remaining seasons
not a show but that land before time thing always hurts me to remember, too
I really liked the first season and the prequel season, but never watched the rest of it after Andy Whitfield died. Worth rewatching and actually finishing the show?
The guy that replaced Andy did a really good job keeping the character the same, after an episode or two it gets pretty easy to forget the actor changed.
Its decent. Not omfg amazing like I thought the first season was, but definitely worth a watch if you got a boring weekend
You could describe it that way. Keep in mind that the character arcs are slow, so much of it feels quite fashy in the beginning.
The Kubrick Spartacus film is also good, literally written by a commie lol
very true. watched it with a couple pals after I saw this and it spanked
Because the Spartacus series isn't popular with anyone (I did enjoy it, especially for the absurd swearing and Lucy Lawless is the star of the show).
Because it's just a holding cell for Australian actors who need a job. Solidarity with my Aussie 'rades
Jupiter's Cock it's agreat show and very very homoerotic and outright homoromantic. I loved the way they spoke it added another layer to it.
Is that the one that had the shitty game where the loading screens would go on and on about cock (like, in all caps and shit for emphasis)? I'm serious though, my roommate in college got some roman gladiator-type game off of xbox live back in the day and it was the most cock-centric non-outright gay porn game I'd ever encountered. I only remember it was based on a show.
I’m a fan of low budget fighting games, definitely gonna try and find this now.
If you like cheesy shit maybe check out the deadliest warrior game. It’s exactly how imagine COCK the fighting game would be except without the COCK
It slaps. The only show where I tolerate gratuitous nudity and over-the-top sex scenes.
just look at this thread and you have your answer
a lot of people are not capable of really going beyond "there was sex!@!!" when talking about it
