This movie was great, and this was not a studio flick which is why it was allowed to be so dark (like the Transformers movie with Orson Welles).

Highest-grossing independent film of all time. And Raphael was a legitimately good character.

And okay obviously it is not a great movie. But for a kids movie about mutant turtles it's way better than it needed to be.
