If it was a containment comm it should've been called something like wallstreetnews or stonks or something like that and make it clear that it's not for advice on investing/gambling. Specifically calling it wallstreetbets sends the message that it's meant to serve the same purpose as /r/wallstreetbets, and if you browse the comm it's clear that people are interpreting it that way.
Or you could call it /c/wallstreetbets because the event was caused by /r/wallstreetbets, and discussions about the new developments in the saga as well as discussions about how to get involved in the gambling would would be posted in /r/wallstreetbets on reddit.
It is designed to replicate the function of /r/wallstreetbets, and keep those posts off of main. That's the definition of a containment community.
