      wsb subreddit is at risk of deletion

      users asked mods to create c/wallstreetbets here which is now called finance. one goal was containment of stock related posting, the other was the idea of dragging a few people from the sub to our version of wsb

      A well known poster got a bit fed up with the stocks posting, being a comrade who doesn't have disposable income to gamble around like that, and also didn't like the idea of recruiting from a subreddit that has a chan-style culture, and shut down their account.

      Comes back to the age old question: Is chapo.chat a place to educate people about socialism? is it just a hang out for people who already are socialists? is it something else?

        Tbh if you're taking this site seriously enough that you delete your account because you can't just log off for a week and wait for all this to become yesterdays news, i dunno what to tell ya.. Not everything has to be so dramatic christ..
