You can strike out 7/10 times and be a Hall of Fame baseball player

Strike out once as a poster and you're done

    Posting is harder than baseball

Tbh, this makes perfect sense when you think about it. China's current position is one where they need to focus on their own development, and also resist the imperial ambitions of foreign powers, namely the US and Europe. So when it comes to Merkel, the fact that she leads the most powerful country in Europe and is refusing to choose a side between China and the USA ultimately helps China because it means they won't have to worry about the threat of European imperialism, on top of also being able to continue trading with Europe, which helps China to continue its development. So, for as much as Merkel may suck from our perspective, from the perspective of Chinese people and the CPC, she probably represents one of the best case scenarios available to China at the moment.

Germany is the only country that exports more to china then its Imports from it.. And its not Plasitik Toys its exports but Machinery and Technology and it does so since china opened up. Maschinery is what produces stuff ... china produces a lot of stuff.... Also all the Chinese Ingenieurs study in Germany ..

Chen knows what he is doing...

Germany and China have a silent and respectfull long standing , prospering relationship , far removed from the loud noises of the Anglo Imperial Core and their daily changing agencies ...

If German leadership was at least semi competent it could be quite powerfull on the world stage besides it's rather small sides. Simply by being being nicer to China or Russia and less obedient to the US. It could be tipping the scales quite a bit. However given the 20th century it propably shouldn't.

Especially since the west is becoming more hawkish toward China, I'm sure China would prefer to keep things predictable within its large trading partners. A center right figure which maintains good relations with them is better than a potential anti-China hawk gaining power one of the EU's largest economies.

This applies to most of northern Europe.

I would assume this is in the context of Merkel agreeing with Xi and saying Germany should take the side of neither China nor US?

This was posted over at r/genzedong and it's pretty clear it was meant as irony/satire. Chen's too clever for that bullshit.
