    worked on my machine!

but the trick is also to have some form of work towards self-actualization or else u will just sit around bored, worsen the same issues u had while still logged in

i recommend trying to pick up 2 hobbies: one you can do outside that forces you into the world (preferably one that you can do solo or away from other people since we still live in a panoramic and all) and one that you can do inside, also again preferably solo when the weather's shit/you feel bad/you feel alone or alienated/the world is awful/all 3 at once. for example i am trying to learn more about taking a critical eye to art and culture but in a "enjoying and better understanding what's happening way" not in the critique way although that is helpful. rn i am reading john berger - ways of seeing because i really have only take one art class in my entire life and i don't know anything about really critically viewing art or visual things in general. there's a BBC series on it and a book that is very readable. if u want a pdf of it msg me.

and god let me point out when people mean log off, touch some grass - they might be flippant but they are not talking about the extreme move of cutting off all forms of the internet (well at least i hope not, maybe some are on some john zerzan shit but even he has a computer last time i checked) - our world is mediated thru the screen but that doesn't mean you have to spend that time losing your mind on this website the entire time. make a letterboxd and watch some films (i recommend gregg araki). pirate ableton and teach yourself sound design. don't go on twitter. fuck twitter. make a special.fish or are.na account or something and stay on the cozy web.

to further my point and to prove i mean what i say i am gonna log off as well for the weekend (unless someone needs that ways of seeing pdf). here is a link to the dolphin emulator to play any gamecube/wii/n64 game that ever existed. here is a link to kirby air ride one of my favorite games ever. both should work on even the shittiest of toaster laptops. go have some fun, turn your worries off and take it the fuck easy for a day or 2

edit: belated christmas miracle here is the ways of seeing pdf for everyone
