isn't it crazy how literally everything western sources say about stalin is a lie?

Arguably the biggest tell that the allegation is bullshit is that if there was evidence for it it would have been plastered across propaganda and history books for decades. Cold War era Soviet historians and Western journalists were never afraid to publish rumor as fact.

What a surprise that this completely outlandish claim that doesn't correlate with any of Stalin's character or lifestory is just pulled out of the ass of some random Tory

a pitiless Marxist terrorist and brutal gangster boss - a Red Godfather

    :stalin-smokin:

The policeman was running away towards the Yenisei River, cravenly waving his sabre in front of him while Comrade Stalin was pursuing him in a state of high excitement and fury, with his fists clenched.

“Stalin was a pedophile. Corroboration? What do you mean he spent most of his life either actively involved in revolutionary activity or in a prominent leadership and there’s no mention or source about this even among his opponents and detractors? Uh, he did while he was exiled to the most remote part of Siberia with no one around, trust me.”

However, according to Mashable, its stories are "allegedly real with a bit of hyperbole/Siberian fan fiction thrown in". Doubtfulnews.com also referred to the website as "not a reliable source for news".

      bad source

Other Siberian Times stories have been picked up by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty, The Daily Telegraph, The Independent and Business Insider.

I loved Young Stalin, and it did more to make me sympathetic towards Stalin than anything else I’ve read before or since.

The stories of his amazing desperado bank robberies are absolutely thrilling, and combine with his repeated escapes from Siberian exile to make him out to be a larger than life figure who is by turns heroic and villainous.

I am not completely sold on the book’s authenticity, but I really see no reason that I should trust Montefiore any less than I trust “bigbrowncommie69”

Edit: should note that I was still just a lib when I read Young Stalin, so it was a long time ago. I remember my main takeaway being that I didn’t realize Stalin was such a badass, and it sent my down a rabbit hole of Soviet history.

Listed in the book under their Reddit username, because Epstein liked to cultivate intellectuals as well as powerful people.

consider that an older dude impregnating a 13-14 year old wasn't all that unusual or even illegal then. this wouldn't be something for western propagandists to really jump on when they & their peers were liable to be doin the same shit.

expecting someone born in fucking 1878 to have been good in every way is silly. it wouldn't erase the good shit he did if these allegations were completely true.
