The Manhattan District Attorney's Office on Tuesday dropped the misdemeanor criminal charge against Amy Cooper, the White woman who called police on a Black man in Central Park last May, after she completed education and therapy classes on racial equity.
“She’s was being racist” is unqualified “she has some underlying racism that surfaced when she got panicked” is full of qualifiers. The racism was “underlying” and only “surfaced” because she was “panicked” . Then you go on to blame that panic on him.
So what you’re really saying is it’s his fault her racism latched out and threatened his life.
