I know we joke, but there are some people who believe shit like this. Like I know someone who voted for EVERY party last election for different seats. Dem, Rep, Green, Constitution Party, Libertarian, etc. They wanted them to all get along.
every currently elected position in government should instead be chosen by a lottery, open to all constituents. instead of the winners of elections claiming that "the people have spoken," we can have lottery winners who say "god has spoken" or "the universe has spoken" or "the little gremlins in the bingo ball tumbler have spoken."
