Hey! Come join us in /c/languagelearning! We’re doing accountability threads and talking about our progress, learning strategies, and experiences to help stay motivated on our practice. Maybe we’ll be able to hook a few people up as practice partners. It’s a good time.

Walking is really good for you. It's a little return to monke, but piloting a ton of metal at 30 to 80 miles per hour to get around is actually really stressful for us even if we're used to it. Having our feet on the ground, air on our face, and moving at a speed our brains are comfortable at is a really good stress reliever even if it's moving between stressful places.
ngl driving is actually more my speed but ik what you mean.
Car still bad, train good.
Dave Anthony described doing this while working as a stand-up comedian on a recent episode of WWT. He'd get to a new city and before a gig would just spend a whole day or two walking around and talking to people about local shit to hopefully help his material.
Walks are the supreme form of travel (besides our trains of course folks)
Walks are so good. My wife was real stressed yesterday over some work bullshit - her has been dangling a promotion in front of her for six months, dragging it out, it sucks - and we took a nice long walk together. Real anxiety destroyer.
Last time I rode a bicycle on psychadelics I had a fucking blast
Same here I had a bicycle day trip a couple years back where I biked all damn day it was heavenly
walking is our purpose
We can walk continuously for longer than just about any other mammal. Even horses get tired before humans do.
