Interested in Legends, kinda feel like the remakes are pointless since they’re being handled by a different studio and aren’t adding anything new or different. The art style is fine? I guess? Looks kinda lifeless. Keeping the SD/chibi style would be fine if they had done anything remotely interesting with it, imagine the muted palette and watercolor-esque textures of the FFIII/FFIV remakes, but in Pokémon.
The biggest issue with Pokémon is that everyone has spent more than a decade imagining their own ultimate Pokémon game and no matter what Game Freak does it won’t live up to those visions.
Looks interesting, but it's still turn based. Basic gameplay isn't changed.
Considering I was expecting it to be SwSh's shitty animations and mechanics shoved into gen 4: it looks better than I was expecting.
Hmm. Idk what to think, I mean they’ve just been announced anyway. I’ll say Legends looks fresh so I’m most curious about that one. Shame they didn’t really show anything in the trailer though. The DP remakes on the other hand look like a bigger step backwards than ORAS were. I did enjoy ORAS though along with the handful of new features/quality of life changes and didn’t miss stuff like the Battle Frontier too much. Maybe they’ll surprise us, but right now it looks like an early 3ds era game, by which I mean it looks like ass. It looks worse than XY - hopefully it doesn’t run like it. I’m not sure why they preserve so much of the look of the original and then decide to go with those garish models over sprites.
One more thing I’ll add - if this is meant to “make up” for SwSh in the eyes of all the man children on /vp/ and Reddit, I think we should get ready for a lot more whining soon.
I don’t want to be too pessimistic though! I really hope between the two releases we get something nice.

Pokémon Home is pretty much the only place that can hold all your Pokémon, and probably will be from here on out.
I hope people are working on a server emulator for it so we can host our own.
My guess is that the Sinnoh games will let you transfer in every Pokémon... from Gen IV and before.
Gen 4 were the only pokemon games I never got a chance to try, so I'm interested from that angle at least. But aside from that, it's...fine I guess?
