He's got some old autobiographical sketches of him with his buddies in the union and attached text complaining about America and industrial society. There's a reactionary "well acckshully" page out there that actually documents it well, but says "Miyazaki is no longer a dumb communist lol" because he once said that being part of the proletariat or bourgeoisie doesn't make you an inherently moral/immoral person.
