      I think it’s fair to say that “nepotism” has expanded beyond its original definition “jobs for members of the family” to “jobs for the boys” in general

      (Unless you’re asking for a definition of nepotism, it means giving undeserved jobs to your relatives/friends/supporters)

        Well I think that's stupid for us to do to the term because, as @QuillQuote correctly pointed out, we already have words for those things.
